Had a u-joint go out on me yesterday, and it messed up my rear yoke pretty bad. Where's the best place to get a replacement? And which ones are compatible?

Any driveshaft shops in your area? I know of a really good one out here, but that doesn't help you. Had the driveshaft in my Silverado rebuilt pretty cheap.

are we talking about the ears on the driveshaft, or the pinion yoke?

i was under the impression you busted your pinion yoke

Just about any 7.6 rear yoke should fit. S 10's are all over the scrap yards. Be sure to use a new pinion nut and set bearing preload when you change it. Replacing the crush sleeve isn't a bad idea when you do this but most people don't.

Thanks. Already bought the front and rear pinion bearings and seals, and will be getting a new nut and crush sleeve later this week.
