Don't have the part number but the Transgo HD2 is what you are after.

Would this be a good kit to get? it comes with the vette servo and the shift kit.... will this work on my automatic? and will I need any additional parts?

I think the you posted will work but i don't know what it means by modified. this is just a straight regular transgo hd2 and i got my servo off ebay but the one you posted maybe better, i'm not 100%.

What are the benefits of just adding a vette servo? That shift kit looks really complicated. I am going to be pulling the trans pan soon and it would be perfect time to put a servo in.

the servo is actually on the side of the tranny. i dont know if theres a way to get to it inside the tranny itself. its easy to take out from the side but i couldn't physically fit it out, it was too big to fit out. (i guess you have to lower the tranny a little bit) so i was waiting till it got warmer out to do it, but its warm now so i guess i got to do it now lol.

but as far as the servo it self im not sure it make that big of a difference alone but i think it tightens up the shifts. i think its the 1-2 shift, but im not 100% sure

Vette Servo will make 1-2 shift firmer and last longer since there is no slip and shift kit will do the 3-4 and do the same make them shift harder so there is no slip and it is designed to make the trannies last longer with less slipping of the clutches. Its on Transgo Shift kits website for more information. Also to fine tune it more Hptuners is the best , removing TQ Mang. and setting up the shift properties to your liking.

I just got back from the transmission shop, and while there they checked the code, and got P1870, which the $18 part this is the fix for; but he said that since he has never used that method before to fix the slippage error, he would not guarantee his work if I the slippage ever came back. I'm really not too worried though, I'm pretty sure that the new part will fix it, plus I just ordered a shift kit, and a vette servo. I just ordered this kit:

Let me know what you think. I called the place that sells it, and they said it would give me some performance increase, and a much stronger trans with less chance of slippage in the future.
