    I have a leak coming from were the shift cable hooks up in automatic transmission. How do i fix it thanks.

    just off the top of my head, see if you can pull it out and find any damaged O-rings or whatnot. Never taken that off, so I really don't know what is in it, but its worth a try.

        It's not a o ring on the shaft for the shifter, it's a very small seal.

            Replace the seal. It is easiest to remove the shaft for the shift lever to do this.

              to removed it unscrew it right? then just slide it out?

                You need to drop the pan, Unscrew it from both ends. Then it slides out.
