My clutch was slipping real bad about a month ago so I had some work done to my car. The following was done:
New clutch Assembly- work included on invoice is described as:
**R&R Transmission - replace flywheel, clutch assembly, slave cylinder, master cylinder & transmission mount - bleed clutch assembly - service transmission.
So it worked well for about 800 miles and yesterday after about a 300 mile trip I am pulling into my street and I notice a lot of play in the stick shift. It feels like the transmission is moving up towards the ceiling of the car when the accelerator is pushed down. it moves up about an inch upon hard acceleration. What happened?
There is a warranty on any work performed so I am probably going to just take it back to the guy and say fix it. But is this a serious problem and should I not drive the car?
