Go with 3.73s. I have an auto and was caught between getting 3.42s or 3.73s. I took the conservative side and got 3.42s, but wish I'd gone with the 3.73s instead. Difference in gas mileage is negligible with a good mix of city and highway miles. 3.42s are fun, but 3.73s would have been better.

3.73s are very nice. Coming from 3.23s, the car is noticeably quicker.

Gas mileage change from 3.23 to 3.73s... In the city, I gained 2 MPG from 18 to 20. Hwy went from 36 to 32. This is with the EGR deleted. City reading with semi aggressive driving, Highway was cruise control locked at 75MPH.

2 bottles of oil about $10-15 plus the additive ( use it with the torsen) about $8 so your looking at $20-25 for the fluids

Just get some RP gear oil and you won't need the additive since its already in the RP gear oil. I love my 3.73's with my Torsen diff. , its been great so far after 2 years now and no noise from it at all.

Yeah im 100% on the torsen & 3.73's now, thanks guys. and in my opininon its a good price aswell.

Oh yeah... 3.23 open to 3.73 LSD. It's gonna be like driving a completely different car. I still remember having to pry off the grin that that welded to my face when I did it.

the only thing is with the 3.42's they would be motive.. not sure what the 3.73's are
