Ok guys i need some help again,my car is a 1996 camaro 5 speed. i recently noticed that the car would feel rough while gradually accelerating even when crusing its still kinda rough, the more strain seems to make it rougher, but when in neutral and rolling it is fine, only when in gear, also the motor revs fine when in neutral,so im thinking it's the tranny, the gears go in fine as they always did,but i do have a stock clutch which has mabe 10k on them and 6 1/4 mile passes,is it a worn out clutch that is causing this, because the more i drive it it seems to get worse, also having 3 people in the car is what made it even worse,it seems like the clutch is slipping and gettin hot, with added weight doesnt help, any ideas, does this make any sense, please help,i need to go to school on monday,i will drive it this morning(sun) when the clutch is cool and see if it runs smooth, please i need some advice.

Re: What can this be?
update,i drove the car this morning and i felt smoother but the gears felt a bit weird to get in,and the clutch is starting to grab really low down, felt like when the slave went bad,but i replaced it about 8 months ago, also when you shift while gassing it pretty hard it kinda grabs suddenly into second and smooth into third,i think i should bleed the system and see what that does, but i still feel it's something to do with the clutch, anyone have ANY ideas?

Re: What can this be?
i wasnt trying to say you're stupid or anything, but i dont see anything clutch/trans related to the car feeling rough when the clutch is engaged in gear... especially when you say the more you loaded the engine down, the more it did it.
a slipping clutch wont cause anything to be rough, when you floor the car, the rpms will shoot up.
i have a bad habit of driving around in 4th gear when im going 25, and i i give the car any gas, its going to do the same exact symptoms you are describing (well, not the friction point changing)

Sounds like an ignition problem to me. Check plugs, wires, coils, etc.-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater
