tranny shot?

I have an 02 camaro a4. I installed a B&M shift kit about 2 years ago, 15,000 miles ago, approx.

Today, outta the blue, it won't shift into second gear. After like 15 minutes of driving I got it once to shift into it but it quickly poped out. I'm pretty sure 2nd gear is just gone but I wanted a second opinion before I start dumping money into it.

& to answer the question, were you doing something stupid in it to cause this? no. I woke up at 5am to drive to work, i was half awake and driving under the speed limit. I drive it like a baby.

Any help would be appreciated.

to add to this diagnostics. I took the car for a late night drive, no traffic helps diagnostics. I can shift into second however it "slips" into it. The best way to describe it is riding with a person who doesn't kno how to drive a stick and leaves the clutch in too long and the engines revs higher than normal.

Also, once in second gear, notable things
1. Once you reach 2,500 rpms, it will slip again and continue to rev up and rev up.
2. if you give any more gas than "grandma style" it will "slip" and rev up.

Visiably
The tranny pan has a slight moisture on the back left corner however, no drops, drips, etc.
I couldn't get a good read on the dipstick(Dark out)

Check the servo on the pass side that controls 2nd gear. Also check the 2nd gear shift solenoid.

check the fluid level b4 you rip any thing apart thats a givin but other wise ^x3
