    Whats involved in replacing a Transmission mount? Cheap fix?

    It's pretty easy. Remove the nut on the bottom stud in the center of the tranny crossmember, then remove the crossmember, then there's just two bolts holding the mount to the transmission. You might not even have to take the crossmember out. I think most of the nuts and bolts down there are 13mm or 15mm. As for price, I just paid like $20 for a polyurethane mount, not sure how much the stocker goes for.

      Go with a poly mount they will last forever, Look at IGORAS writeup on the poly mount and what needs to be done which isn't much, its down below in the "writeup section".
