i believe you can buy shorter handles for them.

you can always cut the stock one down if you want it shorter

I don't have an entire aftermarket shifter assembly for my car, just a shorter shift stick and it did wonders to my shifting.

I got mine off ebay for about 40 bucks, just do a search and choose a seller that has good feedback.
