Beginning to think I got a lemon. Bought for 7k 3 yrs ago. 2 yrs later replace with new motor with 0miles on it, now 15k miles. Now tranny slipping, wow. So 3rd gear is poping out, time for rebuild. So the sticky says the stock stall is 1800. So im planning a turbo build in the next 5 years. My question is what stall would be good for a turbo and still be good as my daily? Do I need to get a shift kit to? Thanks for yalls time and thoughts

Personally I'd say put a used stock tranny in there and save up for a built one come turbo time. S-10 converters sound like a decent bang for the buck converter upgrade.
96 White M5 Camaro. Manual everything. Magnaflow cat, dynomax dual outlet axle back. Swapped to a disc rear with 3.42s and a torsen differential, kyb gr2 rear shocks, moog rear endlinks.

You think it's a lemon after owning a used car for 3 years and having stuff break? You would have blown a gasket if you would have bought my TBSS.
