  • What have you guys paid?

For a clutch, slave cylinder, and maybe a rear main seal fix, on a 3.8L

I am just curious on the costs, I've done it before(well not the rear main) and not looking to do it now... (kind of busy)

Don't care if its a no name clutch.

I assume $150 for clutch, $75 for slave, pluse labor... Flywheel might need a which resurface, since car has 109k on it.

    $500-600 seem fair?

if you can get the job done for $600 thats a great deal.. last time i looked, you are looking at anywhere between $800-$1200 to get the job done.

Meh.... its not that bad just debating if working 2 saturdays at overtime is worth more then spending 2 full days knocking it out in my garage.

When you buy your clutch get a GM throw out bearing , there beefier than what comes for spec or any Co. and the piloit bearing also.

yep, comes in the kit. these things are cheap to replace especially once you take the time to get in there and do the work anyways.. might as well!
