Went WOT finally last night, think I took the trans out, or rather a bearing inside it...humming like crazy under throttle and coast, nothing under decel...we checked the rear, pinion doesn't seem to have play, and dif doesn't appear to be making noise (ruling the new rear out)

I'm beyond rattled right now, I had this thing rebuilt less than 2 years ago...wayy past warranty though. I don't trust any shop to build a new one for me...what should I be looking into? Performabuilt level 1 or 2?

Most of you know my plans...I hope to push this thing into 11's all motor in the next few years, probably no more than 400rwhp if I ever get that high with a stall on it...I may spray years down the road once I've done every possible N/A mod to get me the fastest I can be N/A...that being said she is also my DD and I still drive it in the winter time...what are my best options here...money is an option right now, the funds are pretty tight with all the B.S that's been going on....

Performbuilt 2 would be my choice, but I trust a shop where I live for a stall and tranny.
