Hey guys...before i do my t5 swap i wanna make sure and order everything i want so i dont have to take apart stuff further down the road...well i want a short shifter but invested alot in this swap soo far..soo im kind of on a budget...before i order this i want to make sure its gonna work with the stock t5 base...and all i have to do is swap handles correct?....anyone else used this before? i tried to contact umi about this...waited for 2 weeks and still no reply...this part confuses me thats why i had to ask "Will not fit 1993 - 2002 Models with stock NON-Hurst Shifter base"

No it won't work with the stock base. I don't know if it works with hurst shifters either but it does work with the Pro 5.01997 Chevrolet Camaro
