Finished my a4 to t5 swap today...everything went in correctly but when it was time to test it and crank nothing happened
i think the car still thinks its an a4 and thinks its in gear like drive or something...
I am doing this at my friends shop and there helping me out...we checked everything possible...battery, voltage etc...you name it...I however am NOT using a nss (neutral safety switch)....but i am using a t5 ecu... i tried both ecu's and no difference and also no security lights....
We found out the starter cranks when we use a probe on the starter relay...it cranks but doesnt start...my friend thinks it has something to do with the alarm but i doubt it...does anyone think if i wire up the nss or jumper the a4 gear selector harness it would work? my guess is that since the symptom its showing is like being in a gear and trying to start with the a4
Btw im open to any suggestions but i cant do anything at the shop till monday morning...also this is on a '94 3.4 camaro
just remembered...but sorry if i posted in the wrong section...move if it has to
