I just installed the Hurst short shifter on my 5 speed, and it works fine, except it wont engage 3rd gear. Every other gear works fine. Do you think I got a defective shifter, or what? I already emailed the seller on ebay about it to possibly get a new one and return the one I just got.

I didn't really pay attention to that too much when I was putting it in. I'll take everything apart again tomorrow and look closer and see what I can do.Comment
