Hey guys, haven't been on here in awhile. I'm about 90% sure that I will be driving to pick up a 97' LT1 within the next couple of weeks. It is the motor and computer, but no wiring harness or transmission with it. I was just wondering what transmission I should be looking for that would work with the 97' LT1. I attached some pics of the motor. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
there are a ton of transmission options.. the 4l60/4l60e and the t56 will be correct for the engine, but you can also fit a th350/th400, powerglide, etc.
any transmission that will fit a sbc/bbc will fit that engine
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
