Hello everybody,
I tried to find some information on the site concerning my question but I didn't find anything.
The question is, can I replace the differential fluid with the ACDELCO DEXRON 75W-90 10-4034 ( GM P/N 88862624 )?
On the owner manual is reported the fluid GM P/N 88863089 ( non LSD gear oil )
Someone are using this fluid on his V6 A8?
When I pull up the two part numbers it looks like:
88862624- Has limited slip additive
88863089 - Does not have limited slip additive.
If you do not have a posi rear end I would not use one with a friction modifier. That being said, I am not sure that if you did it would hurt anything.
If you are just looking for a quality gear oil that is compatible with friction modifier I always use Amsoil in all of my Cars including my Camaro. I actually just bought the same gear oil for my Chevy Colorado. This is the link to the correct Amsoil 75W90 Gear Oil for a 2018 V6 Camaro

Thank you so much for your reply, I really appreciated !!!
Do you use it on a Camaro V6 automatic transmission?
Should be filled with 0,5L / 0,52 Q
