not sure what some of you guys with 3.8l's and 4l60e trannys are doing for converters. None of the typical converters that fit this tranny and v8 models will fit the v6. Ive heard some using S10 converters cause they stall slightly higher, but those are still stock converters and wont take more hp than your factory one. Ive seen places like FEP are making custom ones for big money, like 1k and up. I just wanted to let people know about a local shop here in florida. FloridaConverters, they built me a heavy duty converter that'll handle 450hp and stall at 3k rpms for $489. warranty for 2 years also.
