Has anyone else ordered the differential and not had it fit? Apparently it doesn't even fit inside the housing according the install place. Apprently even with the Y87 performance package and GU6 gears (3.42), I i don't even get a posi differential? WTF is up with that? My bird is a 2001 and it should at least have a posi in it, right?

Now I am being told its just a single series diff (read not even posi) and there is no reluctor ring and I would lose ABS. Has anyone else gone through this? I just got my car back today, after having the gears and LSD install'd they told me i no longer have ABS. but whatever who needs it. Th diffrence from 3.08's to 3.42's +Zexel LSD, is sweet.97 firebird v6= killed by a gaurdrail.<p>new car= some kinda ls1 hopefullyComment

I had the dealership put it back together...not sure if I want to lose abs and have the abs imop light going all the time. Cost me a fricken arm and a leg in work time though. What the ****. All it takes to keep ABS is a 3 series reluctor ring. I would think the dealership would carry one. I don't think I have ever heard of a single series differential.
