I have a 97 base model......does that come with 3.08s?? or 3.23s? If I upgrade to a 3.42, what kinda gains can I expect?? Thanx guys

look inside your drivers side door for the RPO codes. look for the one that says GU then a number. come back and look in the tech database or post the number and we can tell you.Comment

no its actually on the door itself. open the door and where it latches to the body of the car should be a sticker with a bunch of letters and numbers all alphabatized. look for it there.Comment

Yup, I have the 95 model and they are listed in the glove box. Look for the GU and then the #. I have GU5 so therefore I have 3.23. But I'm gonna upgrade to 3.42 gears cuze I hear they are the best for overall.Comment
