  • Differential Problem after dyno???

I've had my car dyno'd and never had any problems...

The last time I went, my Abs Inop light and TCS Off light never went away. It's been almost two weeks since the dyno and My abs and traction control are still off?

I've tried resetting the PCM, and pulling the abs fuses.

After the dyno I changed my tires from stock back to my summer chrome wheels and noticed that I can move the rear wheels around (on both sides) away from the car ever so slightly (maybe 2mm of play)????? I checked the wheels for proper torque many times and they are all fine. Is this normal?

My differential seems to be leaking a little. Is it possible that something happend and my abs and traction control are disabled because of it? I haven't heard any unsual whining or clunks??

Please help, this is driving me nuts...??? :(

maybe when they did the dyno they accidentically pulled the TCS thing out of the top of the diff with the straps. i dynoed and mine went away after a few minutes.. look over the sensors in the back and see it if came out.. that would explain the newly found leaking diff also

I've checked the abs sensors on the wheels, and they look fine.

What should i look for on the differential....what does this bundle look like? I don't remember there being any sensors conected to the case...

the sensor is on the side where the ring is. it is above where teh ABS relocator ring is. it reads the relocator ring somehow..good luck

If you have 3-channel abs, the rear sensor is on the pinion. If you have 4-channel, then the rear sensors are on the wheels.

TCS cars have 4-channel. Non-TCS cars have 3-channel.

So where should I look on the rear wheels?

I just recently changed out my rotors and didn't see any sensor on my rear wheels, but I have TCS?
