after spending the last 12 hours installing this, i almost wish i had someone professionally install it. i don't even know if my car will start tomorrow! let alone shift gears... i didn't want to find out tonight.

changing the servo is ridiculous on our cars, you have to take it appart piece by piece... and you STILL run into problems.

after my head has cleared and i've tested the car i'll post if its worth the 130 bucks.

    ok my car almost works...

reverse goes forward now, and all the gears don't always engage, park takes a bit to engage also... what the hell did i do wrong?

i dont know but i'll take a stab at it...

first, you probably installed it wrong, and second i suggest going back over the indtructions and see if you made a mistake somewhere, and if that doesn't work go get it professionally installed...

edit: i said installed but i meant repaired...

i realized i forgot to hook the manual valve or whatever it is... hopefully that solves everything.

ok i hooked it back up, everything is set now.

my car is still on the jacks but as far as i can tell reverse works!

however... when i push the gas i only shift once.. maybe thats just because i'm on the jacks but if its not what in the tranny would cause that? i'll update this when i get it down, just came in for food/ideas.

alright everything works, good to go.

However, the shifts are not firmer... i can't even feel some of the shifts, it goes right up the line. I'm not sure if all of this was worth the 130 dollars.

anyone else notice little difference when they put a shift kit in?

What stage did you install. A friend of mine did stage 3 w/ the vette servo and it shifts really hard. Breaks loose in second and chirps in third. (2000 SS)
