I don't know what to do- I used the jetscu2000, and my cruise control stopped working.
I want to use the hpp3, but it looks like its only for the 99+.
What are my options for a 1998 manual tranny with 3.73's?

i used the SLP recalibrator...it fixed the speedometer but the speed limiter is still at 100...most people dont like it but it did what i wanted it to do so im happy...
Check out Intense Racing, they have a recalibrator that is great and easy to install.It costs about $99.00 plus shipping. It is from Tech Edge and is what I used on my 96' m5 camaro.

Im not sure- when I had the first unit, with no adjustments selected (stock gears), cruise still worked. Then, before I got my gears, I had to send the unit out for replacement.
Then, when I got it back, I used the different gear settings, and cruise didnt work.
