  • Clutch problem?

Well I have a couple questions about the clutch. I only have 7k miles on my new RS, sometimes it slips, sometimes it doesn't. It shouldn't with only 7k miles I would think. But what if it gets hot? Does that make it slip just for a while then go back to normal? It feels like that sometimes.

Next question, which clutch is a good one to buy that is better than stock. I would like one that would last longer than most and performs much better than stock. I also dont want one that is hard to push to the floor each time, I've driven some cars where it was very hard to use. Dont know if the Dual friction centerforce is that way, but I've heard good things about it, what do you guys recommend?

With the gear engaged and the pedal not depressed, there should be no slippage whatsoever.
I bought a Centerforce and have it wrapped up sitting in my garage, but I'm waiting for my current stock clutch to give out before I replace it.

Whats the difference between the spec stage 2 and the dual friction centerforce? Do you have to fight them to push in to shift?

By the way, since I dont know how to change a clutch myself, how much does it usually cost for a shop to do it? Is it easy to change?
