• Tranny Oil Changed > Now Skipping....

Today the transmission fluid got changed, and when I 'test drove' it the car skipped 3 times under regular acceleration. On the way back it skipped badly at WOT in first and halfway through second. Now it skips in second between 2500 - 3000 under normal driving. The plugs and wires were changed no more than 5000 miles ago, and I'm fairly certain the fuel system is top-notch.
Any ideas :(

Edit - The car only has 55,2xx miles on it...

gonna go oldschool third gen on ya:

TV moved any (you don't have one but humor me)
do you have any vacuum lines going to it?

Enough fluid put in?

Check all connectors going to tranny, one may have been bumped

what didi old filter look like? If still around, tear it open & check for friction disk material

edit: this will also probly get moved to drivetrain section, see ya there ;)

The lines are all attached.
The right amount of fluid is in.
The transmission was never opened, there was a an electric suction machine used to take out the old and put in the new.

You need to drop the pan so you can change the filter. Maybe something got stuck in the line when the lines were unhooked.
