nope, just higher in the powerband is all. now if you used everytime you started for 100K miles, then you might see some difference.
Not a problem, just a challenge...

Another problem that I could see with doing this is if you find yourself bending into the clutch so that it doesn't stall then you would be wearing out your clutch faster but if you aren't doing that then there should be no problem with it.

NJ has been geting pounded, I hate the snow!

Anyway, I have the same concern, I use it if I am on ice or snow so maybe 6 times this winter already.

i love that button- sounds soooo good to be in a parking garage, put the windows down and just give it 50% gas---sounds sooooo V8

technically, yes it does harm the tranny because the tranny is heating up more because you're eliminating 1st gear and going straight to second gear. Atleast someone told me that

but the power output it gives in return will remind you that it's just a V6! ;)

its not going to hurt you car, tranny or anything else. its there as a safety device. to help avoid spinning. it **might** cause a little more heat in the tranny but nothing that will make any difference. even with no tranny cooler the stock trans doesnt hit that high of temps. and me and my 3500 vigi never get over 180 or so. i my tranny cooler

;)
