• Anybody using the Qwik Stick on their 5 speed?

I was wondering if anybody has tried it on this tranny? It's like Lou's short stick.

LM Performance and Stealth Performance sell them. On LS1Tech I've read that people love it. Posters were saying they never miss the 2-3 shift. They said it was almost as good as a Ripper or Pro 5.0. At only $39 this sounds like a great mod.

It'll feel nothing like an actual shifter, meaning it doesnt change the feel of it.

The stock shifter feels almost rubbery compared to the boltaction feel of the ripper.

Shorten throws it will? yes... make it feel like a nicely oiled boltaction rifle? no.

I always think of it as an addition to an aftermarket shifter, not a replacement.

If you've never tried it you can't comment on it with an informed opinion. ie, you don't know what you're talking about With the Qwik Stick my shifter feels like a nicely oiled boltaction rifle

This stick, just like the Short Stick can not be used on a 5-speed, like you can on the 6-speed. You have to replace the entire shifter.

Your links do not list the Qwik Stick for a V6, only listed under the V8.
