Does any one know what gears come stock in a 98 camaro?? Are they 3:42's???? i dont really know.

Just check out on your driver's side door. Should be like GUx. I think they have 3.08 gears. 2000 on up have 3.42's which rock IMO.98 Camaro V6 -
First of all you should have asked this kind of question in the drivetrain section. Second, look on the drivers side door. There should be a white sticker with a bunch of codes. This is how you tell what you have...
GU4: 3.08
GU5: 3.23
GU6: 3.42
