Yes, it's still covered under warranty. Just a pita to deal with. I had some noise, thought it was the brakes & had it checked out. The brakes are fine, that's when they told me it was my bearings. One of the guys there said his buddy has a Z and he had the same problem. First I've heard of it. Yea mine are bad too, but I still have my stock rearend sitting in my garage so I'll just swap the bearings between the two.
