hey, i have a 98 a4. I always assumed it had a one peice driveshaft form looking at the tech database. I looked under my car when installing my b&b and it looks like it has a 2 piece driveshaft. Has anyone heard of this before? thanks

All v6's come with the 2pc.
GM says it was due to vibrations which of course go against the nice quiet ride and handling a v6 Camaro is supposed to have
The 1 pc aluminum is great update. I have mine on order! :D1997 silver Camaro RS
|T-Type Powered|
Looking for a local F-Body club in K/W, Ontario, Canada?

If you would read the Technical Database, you would find that GM started putting one-piece DS in V6 models in 1998.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com

I looked at the manufacturing date of my car and ir was made in september 97. This could be why i have the 2 piece. Would it be benificial at all to get an alluminum ds. Also are they hard to install? thanks2002 camaro SS 6 speed, black, with black leather: Whisper lid/filter
98 silver camaro v6 a4(sold)
few mods

Install is easy.
Going from 2 piece to 1 piece will help. ET drop of about .1-.2 second seems like what I've heard on here.
Aluminum 1pc is about .1 second compared to steel 1pc.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA
