    how do you take the shifter nob off in a automatic?
    White 1989 2.8 v6 firebird(restoring)

    Ive read a post on this before, They said to take the little PIN that is on the back side...Take it out ,and it should fall right off..

      Yup. Make sure you try to make the two ends of the pin parallel or else it won't fit in right when you go to put it back in. [img]smile.gif[/img]

          what do you suggest to get it out with? just pry it out (with a screwdriver), or pull it out (with plyers)

            RAXXUS called it, make sure the ends are not bent and when you remove it, that the ears don't spread
            ,I used an offset 90 set of needlenose and put it in 1st.
