so your saying it will work for maunal transmison then since you don't have to get the transmission's shift points reprogrammed?

don't waste the time from 3.23 to 3.42, go to 3.73, otherwise, waste of time/money IMO

well i didn't want to go to high of agear ratio due to gasmilage and wear of engine at speeds. My main concern is just LSD and disc brakes, but ya i would have to speeed another 180 bucks just on the recalibration item from slp.

I'd go to 3.73 with a t-5,I get~18 mpg in the city and ~28 on the highyway, and I drive hard

The 3.4s w/3.73s must get better highway mileage than the 3.8s. I get close to 20 city but only about 24 - 25 highway (was same city and right at 30 highway with the stock 3.23s).

called alot of dealerships and no one will recalibrate grrrr..... i mgiht be just sticking with the 3.23s. If i just get the whole rear brakes(everything) from a camaro/or firebird will they hook up on the axels that come with drums. I been talking to some people and they say it wont fit i thought for sure it would.

i have the SLP w/3.73's and get 18-20 in town and 25-26 on the highway, seriously, dont just go to 3.42 and dont stay w/3.23's, 3.73's are so much better, i promise you'll love them!!!!

I'd say just slap an lsd in there. No need to waste $ on gears.
