  • Where does your clutch engage?

off hand where is your clutch engagement, and list what car you have.

Seems my car engages very high, like, mabe 1/2 in below the brake pedal. Its like the first 1/4 of the entire movement of the clutch pedal maybe less.

Just wondering because people have said it about my car, and almost all the manuals I have driven engage lower.

Whenever I drive other cars, mine seems to high, and I tend to almost stall cars out because I let the clutch out too much before I give it gas.

noticed it especially yesterday driving a fiero with a idle problem.

mine grabs about a half inch before its all the way up.

This is with the spec 3 clutch. I too tend to stall other cars because of it.. but it only takes 2 min to adjust

Mine grabs high. I thought it just stock clutch close to worn. Same with the new one. Probably would have to use McLeod adjustable master cylinder.

I think it tends to be that a newer clutch grabs low and a worn one grabs high. But that's just from my experience.
