Winter is coming soon here, im wondering what takes to add Traction Control to the car without this option?

    New rear, among other things.

TC is for wusses. Just throw on a set of snow tires, and add 200lbs of sand to the hatch well. You'll be golden.

New rear ? I’m looking in the SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM and comparing W/ and W/O Traction Control diagrams(Page5 and Page6 for v6) and the only difference is couple wires going from EBCM to PCM, on/off switch and instrument cluster LED.
There is no additional sensors at the rear(TransAm,z27-yes rear has 2 sensors , but v6 – no)

Ok, I’ve done my research, I cant do that because I don’t have straight (electric)Throttle body. That’s why TC wasn’t available until 99. From 99+ its possible to do.

99+ V8s used a cable driven throttle body and TC was available. You would, however, need a new rear end (with a 4channel ABS setup), a new PCM (with the correct pinouts and programming), and a new chassis and engine wiring harness, and you'd have to add the on/off switch on the dashboard. In other words, way too much work. ;)

Travis , why new rear end? 4 channel abs setup is for v8 models.
add the on/off switch on the dashboard - yes, = some whiring. Maybe im wrong , but according to the SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM all v6 have 3 sensor ABS with and without TC.
If you dont have it i can email it you.
I just want to have TC :(

Since yours has an M5, just start off in a higher gear. All you need to do is reduce the torque to the rear wheels to prevent them from losing traction and spinning so easily. Before it was traction control it was called Second-Gear-Start. All TCS (on an A4) does is limit wheel speed to 10 mph.
