    auto to manual

    Alright I dont if this has been discussed about or not but I am at work and dont have time to do research on the information.....but.....


    I have a 02 firebird automatic and I want a manual transmission so badly....I was wondering what parts would I need, how much would it cost est., is it hard to do, or am I just fooling myself and have to keep the auto? Let me know guys to see what sup.

      A) You can edit the post yourself
      B) Some good posts if you try a quick search
      C) It's going to be expensive and not at all easy. Best bet is to buy a new car unless you really want to do the work. [img]smile.gif[/img]

        Also just so you know, if you plan on modding your car do not put the manual in. You will spend more money on repairing and upgrading your tranny than anything else. The t5 manual is just a week transmission, the 4L60E automatic handles a lot more power without needing to be upgraded.
