OK I am thinking about getting the transgo correction shift kit to see if it solvws a tranni problem I am having. I just want to know is this a do it yourself kit or do I have to take it in to have it installed?

You have to get it done for you, unless you really know your stuff. You'll probably end up paying anywhere between $100 and $200 to have it done for you.

my local speed shop wouldnt even install it. They said anything that has to do with crackin open the trans is tricky, and they dont want any liability for it. So go to a trans shop like ammco or something. I was quoted like 120

They really aren't hard to install, they just take a little time. Follow the directions, and you'll be fine.

Wierd....you must be a tranny guy. I wouldn't touch the thing. Although its not with the transog kit, the servo looks like its hard to get to
