I've been hunting around for a short shifter for my bird with little luck. I found a few via ebay but not sure if they will work with my car. Some state they are for mustangs with a t-5 tranny. Am I only looking for something designated t-5? Or does it have to specifically be for a firebird?

i got hurst comp with ws6 store handle similar to the hurst with lous stick. but ws6 wants 26$ for theirs. so i blew about 175 for shifter parts and i have the shortest throws ive ever felt. i just use wrist not arm.help me build the ultimate sleeper soon ill have a lot more mods than i can list and watch out for the spikes. 02 firebirdComment

HUU-3915032. Thats it! Its a short shifter with a slightly longer stick than stock. That and the stock knob won't fit on the long stick. If you want a short stick, get Lou's, part# 52502-BLK (stock knob will fit short stick) http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/lousshortstick.html
