If i get a 5-speed from a 3.4 camaro would it fit in a 2002 firebird 3.8 auto. how much modification will i have to do and wil it fit? thanks.

going off what I found w/the 95 & 98 4:60-E... VSS connector might be in a different location /different shape. The tranny mount I'll...... pass on ( but they were in different places too).1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:

It's much more involved than just swapping trannies. You have to flash or maybe replace the computer and much Much more. Do a search. It has been discussed before.
