I bought crap(zexel torsen) off ebay and its missing the internals.
I'm talking about the internals that go in between the worm/spider gears in the dead center of this unit.

My shop that was doing the install couldnt name the parts.
I took my diffy up to a GM house(parts dept) and the guy wanted me to buy all new internals (which was $260, thats alot more than the lsd cost).

I'm thinking the only parts I need are:
1: "differential pinion gear thrust washer"
    2: "diffy pinion gear"

    cite my sources:
    http://cv6.fakeleg.com/techfiles/di...imited.slip.pdf
    http://cv6.fakeleg.com/techfiles/di...axle.shafts.pdf

Almost everyone is giving crap service... So where could I get these 2 parts?
Also, the tech files on cv6.fakeleg.com says that the zexel torsen cannot be serviced, you gotta buy a new unit.

    Do you have any pictures?

I think you're talking about the pinion shaft and the axle c-clips.

The C-Clips comes off the old axles.

The pinion shaft, though, you'll have to get from a junkyard or something.

you can see right through that piece of crap.
I'm gonna go back up to the GM parts counter and ask another dillweed.

I found out that that GM Limited Slip LUBE is only for clutch-based LSDs. So it probably wont help my spider/worm gear type?

Yes, that is where the pinion shaft would go. I can't get a part number for that, because like you said you have to buy the whole thing from GM.

Best bet would be to try a junkyard.

There's no real need for the limited slip additive, but putting it in won't hurt either. I didn't use it, and I haven't had any problems over the last 3 years.

I bought a zexel that was missing the pinion shaft. I found that they dont machine any extras when they make them, so there is no way to order a new pinion shaft. Your only hope is a junkyard, but I even doubt that a junkyard would want to get rid of that part alone.

yep, went back to GM and they said I'm missing the block that goes in there
this is a fun runaround, but I'm finding more knowledgeable people...
I'm sure I will be buying a new one, since GM doesnt sell extra parts. bastards

went to another shop and they said i only needed c-clamp eliminators to hold the 2 axles in.
i think i'm missing more than that.

yeam there are 4 gears that goe between the two side gears.. look like twisty pretzels.... they are what tie the two sides together.... I hate to say it, but I think you are SOL...

haha I love the odds! I'm SOL
                  (c-clamp eliminators = safety hubs)
those 4 gears you talk about in the very middle, if they are twisty like a pretzel that means they are worm gears? maybe spider gears?
                  I'm FUKed

why would you want a spool/locker so that both your rear wheels spin at same speed/power?
how could this be good for drag when f-bodys have wheel hop problems?
i'd think that the zexel-torsen type(giving most power to the wheel that has most traction) would be best.
