I'm getting my auto tranny rebuilt. i want to make it stronger, capable of handling around 400hp

    what should i do?

just take it to a local shop and tell them what i want?

or are there internals i should purchase online and take to a localshop and hold them up and say "fix me!"

    thanks!

If you want it built to perform and able to handle up to 400 hp, you should start looking around for a quality and reputable transmission shop. I'd suggest calling Joe Pirrone's Transmissions on Kensington Av here in philly. I know a few people who have had their 700R4 and 400 Turbo Transmissions professionally rebuilt by them, and they did an awesome job!
