  • Do i need limited slip additive?

Hi everybody, today i opened up my diff, and found out it was a limited slip. I bought gear fluid the other day, 80w90 cheap stuff. I didn't know it was limited slip at the time.
Can i just put this stuff in for a day or so, then add some limited slip additve into it? Should i use a synthetic fluid, are there any advantages. I don't really drag the car yet, and its winter, so im not going to be going that fast.
The reason is, its Thanksgiving, and theres no way to get it, everythings closed...
    Thanks,
    Ron

Get it in as soon as you can. WHen you back up you will feel the rear end wanting to climb itself..
