I'm on the edge of buying a B&M shift improver kit on ebay (not the electronic one). How much time does it take to install it? If its only about an hour i'd rather have a professional do it. Also, what does the corvette servo do exactly? Is that a tough install?

Bone stock V6 3.8L auto. Exhaust on the way, then intake, and tranny kit. -
Those kits require opening the tranny and drilling out some holes. I'd recommend having a professional do the work unless your comfortable working on trannies. Peaple on this board have paid anyware from $200 to $350 to have a shift kit installed.
I believe the corvette servo gives you a cripser 1-2 shift. There should be several previous topics about it if you do a search.
