Ok, I got the old differential out, and got my new one all ready to go in, but I need to get the ring gear and reluctor ring off the old diff to put on the new one. I took out the 10 bolts but the thing still won't budge. How do I get that thing off?

Thanks Dom. That's what I'd been doing but I guess I was too afraid to hit it hard enough. I finally let loose (got angry) and she popped right off. The new diff is in, the axles are back in place and the drums are together. Now I just have to put the cover back on and fill it back up with fluid. I would have done that tonight but I can't find my RTV sealant. Guess I'll have to go buy some tomorrow.-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater
