While driving today the car was making some weird clunking noise under light acceleration. It sounded like it was coming from the rear-end. Then I gave it some more gas and it seemed to shake a little and did the same thing. The car seems to have no problems shifting and it is still running strong. Also, the intermediate pipe is hitting the frame, right past the cat. Do you guys think think this could be the tranny mount causing all of this or some other problem?

    Thanks for any help.

check all exhaust mounts and repair/replace as necessary.

Sounds like the mount to me. Have heard the same noises on broken mounts. Also check and see if your exhaust pipe is hitting your rear suspension.
