i got a stage three back last xmas as a gift. i figured that it was cheaper than the stock clutch so i might as well. The chatter is going down now and this clutch is amazing.

I do have future plans for the car.. for the future. they are not 100 % but at least now i got me a clutch that should last me nearly forever NA..The clutch rocks.

The clatter shouldn't go away. You will learn how to drive it without creating as much chatter. If the clatter starts to go away, you are wearing the disc prematurely. That's what happened with mine.

ah, the guys who did the install said for the first 50 miles feather it more than often, then just start the break in for about 500 miles, and the chatter should go away. The only way i can get it to not chatter is if i give it a lot more gas than usual. I dont like doing that now because it only has 90 miles on it. We'll see what happens when i hit that 500 mile mark.

That is true only on the older version of the stage 3. The new Xpad design is basically free of chatter, except on a very few take-offs if you are't paying attention. And this does not mean you are wearing it prematurely on the Xpad by any means.

Tyler, I'd give it at least 500 miles or so before ragging on it, then do a couple high rpm in and outs on the clutch while sitting still and barely moving, like in a higher gear. This will help wear off any real high spots remaining.

Normally a harder biting clutch will wear faster.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner Tyler, haven't been on as much lately. Yours is in the gray area of when they used the old and were starting to switch to the new. How many miles have you gone so far?
