I am looking for a used differential and I need to know how many splines a camaro has and if a LSD out of an S10 would work? thanks.

S10s are not consistant with how many splines they came with. Most 87 and up 4.3 s10 have 28 spline. I was told all 87 and up S10 had 28 spline, so I bought a zexel from SLP and to my suprise, I had 26 splines. So I guess they figured the 2.5 4 cylinder didnt need the better parts and used their remaining axles up. Nothing a 20 dollar trip to the junkyard couldnt fix.
