I just bouhgt a GM posi unit serie3 but my mechanic says a auburn is better if I want to put nitrous on it later on I going to set it up with a 373 ring and pinion. Will it hold What do you think.

the auburn pro would be better but the zexel should be fine. GM doesn't make posi units, companies like Auburn and Zexel-Gleason do. Depending on the year S10 it came out of it is probably an Auburn unit. This will work just fine for a naturally aspirated V6, and should hold up fairly well even with a power adder unless you spend a good deal of time at the track. The Auburn units GM installed are not as good as the Pro series Auburn.
