i think my tranny is starting to slip (2002 firebird, ~23,500 miles on it, a4).

if i got a shift improver kit would that fix it so that it wouldnt slip again? im going to take it to the dealer and have them fix it right now because its still under warranty, but is there a permanent fix?

It's still under warranty, have the dealer screw with it. Might be a bum part.

That better be a bum part if you have less than 25k miles on it. The shift improver kit will not do any good if the tranny is already slipping.
