Forget codes...just burn some rubber and see how many lines you leave ;) . Either that or jack up your car from the rear and spin the wheels with your hands. If they both spin the same direction you have LSD. If they spin in opposite directions, you dont. simple..::[ 0 ]::.
1997 Camaro 3800 II M5 (30th edition)
[]B&M Ripper Shifter
[]Proform Shift Light
[]SLP Cold Air
[]Dynomax Exhaust
[]Richmond 3.73\'s
[]Zexel-Torsen LSD
[]180* Thermostat
[]Tail Blackouts
pics

hate to burst your bubble but with my zexel torsen LSD and the wheels off the ground if you turn one wheel the other one will still turn the opposite way when the car is in gear, they arent locked together, the LSD is just a torque multiplier, not a true posi.
anyone care to back me up or shut me up on this?Jared W. They should turn oppositely since there isnt any force being applied to the other wheel, so it'll act like a normal Open differential.
Try applying a small braking force to a wheel while you turn the other one... you'll notice a stark change in how it reacts.
The Torsen is not a clutch based posi - and therefore it works like an Open differential with a *continuously variable* torque biasing system... Much cooler than open or clutch based.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
