Im one of the Very FEW who actualy have Positrac. I got it custom installed with 3.73 gears. I highly recomend Eaton because It can be rebuilt. Very good mod, yet very few do it... Its very rewarding when you do a burnout you get bolth tires smoken'!

clint. hate to burst your bubble, but there are a lot of 3.8L V6 f-bodies that have it. in fact -- the Y-87 option, i do believe, came with a posi installed and 3.43 gears. soo...

      anyway.

as for how to install a posi, do a search on this board . there is TONS of info and even links to what you are looking for in the messages here.

Eaton and Auburn are good but if your just looking to smoke your tires get the LSD.
